What is a VTT?
A Virtual Tabletop is a programe or website that lets people play tabletop games over the internet. Roll20.net is a popular, free option. HellScape recommends Foundry VTT, and much of our content is optomized for it.
Many Roll Playing Games use tactical grids called Battlemaps to keep track of who is where, and to show the layout of the battlefield. HellScape makes artwork that can be used to create Battlemaps using Dungeondraft.
What is Dungeondraft?
Dungeondraft is a computer program that is used to make Battlemaps for TTRPGs. It is a one-time purchase at $20, and includes lifetime updates. HellScape assets are packs which can be loaded into Dungeondraft to add new modern, scifi, and post-apocalyptic artwork.
What game systems is HellScape for?
The HellScape name came from the original intention of focusing on the under-served Post-Apocalyptic setting, but it has grown over the years to cover almost all non-fantasy settings. We do not target a particular game system, but instead offer artwork for any game set in modern times, after an apocalypse, or in the future.
Our assets are popular for GMs running games like Cyberpunk, Starwars, Mothership, Starfinder, Traveller, and 40k.
What kind of assets are included with HellScape?
We primarily create Dungeondraft packs which completely replace the defult fantasy based art. This includes walls, doors, windows, paths, patterns, and terrain.
Higher Patron tiers get animated assets, sound effects, icons, and even some music.
HellScape Patrons also gain access to our assets via Moulinette Cloud, a plugin for Foundry VTT that lets you drag and drop artwork directly into your scenes. You must be a Patron of both HellScape and Moulinette. Read more about it here.
What about commercial use?
As of this writing, HellScape does not have a commercial license. You cannot sell maps made using HellScape assets, nor can you gate artwork you’ve made with HellScape behind a pay-wall such as Patreon.

Can I stream my HellScape maps?
Yes! We do not consider streaming commercial use, and you are not required to credit us, but we strongly encourage you to give us a shout out. We’ll even help promote your stream!
