Wondering what kind of assets you’ll find as a Patron? Every month I take screenshots showing what’s new. I’ve uploaded the majority of these monthly images to this post for you to peruse. And just in case you didn’t know, you can get the Airship pack for free at Cartography Assets.
As of June 2023, HellScape consists of about 4,800 objects, paths, patterns, doorways, planets, stars, and walls.
- Recolorable assets are either shown in red, or duplicated in red, green and blue.
- Paths are draw as squiggly lines. You can make straight lines too of course.
- New walls are typically shown as a straight line or box, and I’ve started making half-walls. You can use them to make different wall styles on either side of a room or building.
- All of my ‘terrain’ assets have height data baked into the alpha channel, so they blend gloriously!
- Most objects use a 2 to 3 pixel line around the outside. Hellscape is meant to work reasonably well with Forgotten Adventures.
As a reminder, HellScape assets are designed to be used with Dungeondraft! I’ve worked with Patrons in the past to try and support Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint, but such support is not guaranteed. Dungeondraft is a one-time purchase which has thousands of compatible assets for all kinds of settings. Trust me, it’s worth the purchase!
Moulinette Cloud
As of June 2023, HellScape offers 1,618 objects, several battle maps and 493 celestial objects (planets, stars, asteroids) on Moulinette Cloud. All HellScape Patrons gain access to Moulinette assets.
